The interesting portions of the announcement reflect how disconnected the Supreme Court body is from the actual utilization of their administrative arm and county courts. It is true that each have grown from the trail court level which is further illustrated why none of the Court are able to politically lead the organization or work with other branches of government; they are used to directing county business instead of negotiating it. Furthermore, if it was a unified court that the clerk’s respected they would not have used their influence for personal gain that only benefited clerks why the rest of the court were unable to benefit from a pay raise; in fact many staff have lost their jobs. As a final note, the AOC is provided little guidance which is reflected in the poor execution of many administrative tasks including acquisition of new building which despite previous reports is still not finalized (looks like the plan for impressing legislatures even backfired since the agency has been mismananging funding and enough surplus to purchase and finance it), the fact that the majority of their funding is allocated to personnel but they cut many other areas within the court and decided that closing courthouses was more appropriate than making tough decision on contracts, financing, and growth areas. Needless to say, the Judiciary has displayed once again that they live on an island and prefer the status quo instead of realizing that the current way of business is not working.

How are we supposed to feel after the way Borders sold out his party to help Beshear out? He obviously has no core convictions or he would have kept his Senate seat and worked to oppose Beshear’s bad ideas.

Also it sure took the reporter long enough to mention Linda Breathitt’s connection to her father. This was a political appointment, pure and simple. Beshear rewards the daughter of a Dem crony from his native part of the state.

Yes, I get hateful and mean-spirited when I see how the Democrats have ruled and ruined this state for decades. Anyone with half a brain would be similarly incensed.

Good riddance to the despicable Charlie Borders, who was willing to sell out his party for a hefty retirement pension increase. The fact that he was complicit in scheme by Beshear to attempt to allow the Democrats to take control of the Senate should be disgusting to all conservatives in this state. Note that Borders didn’t even stay in his PSC position a reasonable period of time after selling out to Beshear. May Borders have a short and miserable retirement.

Obviously, the credibility of Club for Growth’s is at risk. They chose to actively defend a Senator they rank an failure by explaining the reason their rating system is useless. Are we to believe they knowingly ranked Senators as failed knowing it was inaccurate? or is the rampant corruption of the endorsement process plainly visible? Ky Right to Life, NRA, and, now, CFG are more concerned about their invested in incumbents than promoting what they claim to represent.

Beshear is about as lame as anyone could be on this issue. I called his office in May 2011 to ask how he plans on paying for the Federally mandated Insurance Exchanges that the state is required to rund and run under Obamacare.

I have also written and called Beshears office, several times since my initial call. So far, the silence has been deafening. Beshear is as dishonest as Obama on this matter and will stop only when he has crammed this down our throats, much to our detriment, just like a good little Democrat Obamabot.

The issue with being an employee within the Court of Justice is that once you are in it is hard to leave despite the poor employee environment since it is difficult to transfer to other state jobs.

The best advise for anyone is to join any other branch government unless you like not having educational benefits (not just school), poor advancement opportunities, unqualified leadership, and a we’re better than everyone else attitude since we are the courts.
