‘Comment’ will discuss U.S. Senate race

The 2014 U.S. Senate race in Kentucky will be a major topic on this weekend’s “Comment on Kentucky,” a public affairs show of the Kentucky Educational Television network.

Joining host Ferrell Wellman will be three journalists —Joe Arnold with WHAS-TV in Louisville, Ronnie Ellis with CNHI News and Tom Loftus of The Courier-Journal.

The show will air live at 8 p.m. Friday on KET.

On the Monday, April 29, edition of “Kentucky Tonight” at 8 p.m. on KET and at, host Bill Goodman and guests will discuss the federal budget.

Scheduled guests are:
Richard Nelson, executive director of the Commonwealth Policy Center and a Trigg County magistrate
Tihisha Rawlins, associate state director of grassroots initiatives for AARP Kentucky
John Garen, economics professor at the University of Kentucky
Malcolm Robinson, economics professor and chair at Thomas More College
