‘Comment’ will discuss end of legislative session; ‘KY Tonight’ will tackle federal budget
The last two days of Kentucky’s 2013 General Assembly next Monday and Tuesday will be discussed on this weekend’s “Comment on Kentucky,” a public affairs show of the Kentucky Educational Television network.
Joining host Ferrell Wellman will be three journalists — Beth Musgrave of the Lexington Herald-Leader’s Frankfort bureau; Bill Bryant, anchor and managing editor of Lexington’s WKYT-TV; and Tom Loftus, Frankfort bureau chief for The Courier-Journal.
The show airs live at 8 p.m. Friday on KET.
On the Monday, March 25, edition of “Kentucky Tonight” at 8 p.m. on KET and at www.ket.org, host Bill Goodman and guests will discuss the federal budget.
Scheduled guests are Jason Bailey, director of the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy; Eric Schansberg, economics professor at Indiana University Southeast and a policy scholar at the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions; Chris Phillips, economics professor at Somerset Community College; and Brian Strow, economics professor at Western Kentucky University.
