Stan Lee, 45 District Rep. in the Kentucky state house, doesn’t have to sweat out his own race, holding a more than 30-point lead over his nearest of two challengers. But what he is really looking for is if Republicans can take a majority in the House.
“This is the year, I hope it’s the year,” Lee says, as his daughter passes out Stan Lee stickers at the Marriott Griffin Gate, where Central Kentucky Republicans are gathered. “The party’s come together. Look at all the TV. I’ve never seen so much TV for state house races.”
Lee said he’ll be keeping his eye on Western Kentucky districts to see if a Republic majority actually comes together.
Contemplating the evening from the Presidential contest to state races, he said, “We’re going to have a big night.”
