‘Comment’ will discuss child abuse; ‘KY Tonight’ will focus on foreign policy

The state’s handling of child death and abuse cases will be one of the topics on this weekend’s “Comment on Kentucky,” a public affairs show of the Kentucky Educational Television network.

Joining host Ferrell Wellman on the show will be Bill Estep, Somerset bureau reporter for the Lexington Herald-Leader; Ronnie Ellis, Frankfort reporter for CNHI, Inc.; and Adam Walser, investigative reporter for WHAS-TV in Louisville.

The show will air live at 8 p.m. EDT Friday on KET1.

On the Monday, July 23, edition of “Kentucky Tonight” at 8 p.m. EDT on KET1 and at www.ket.org/live, host Bill Goodman and guests will discuss foreign policy and national security.

Scheduled guests are George Herring, professor emeritus of history at the University of Kentucky; Shiping Hua, political science professor at the University of Louisville; Michael Cairo, political science professor at Transylvania University; and Hossein Motamedi, political science and history professor at Bluegrass Community and Technical College

    This is just a thought,but maybe abusive stepfathers secretly hurt the child because they feel love towards him or her,but hate the child’s real dad for producing them?
