‘Comment’ will discuss expanded gambling; ‘KY Tonight’ will focus on University of Pikeville
Gov. Steve Beshear’s proposed constitutional amendment to expand gambling in Kentucky and other news of the week will be discussed on this weekend’s “Comment on Kentucky,” a public affairs show of the Kentucky Educational Television network.
Joining host Ferrell Wellman will be three reporters: John Cheves of the Lexington Herald-Leader, Kenny Colston of Kentucky Public Radio and Greg Hall of The Courier-Journal.
The 30-minute show airs live at 8 p.m. ET Friday on KET1.
On the Monday, Feb. 20 edition of Kentucky Tonight at 8 p.m. ET on KET and at www.ket.org/live, host Bill Goodman and guests will discuss a proposal to make the University of Pikeville a state school.
Scheduled guests are former Kentucky Gov. Paul Patton, president of the University of Pikeville; Morehead State University President Wayne Andrews; Democratic Floyd County Judge-Executive R. D. “Doc” Marshall and Republican Bell County Judge-Executive Albey Brock.
