‘Comment’ will feature student journalists

Three college journalism students will join host Ferrell Wellman on this weekend’s “Comment on Kentucky,” a public affairs show of the Kentucky Educational Television network.
They are Lyndsey Gilpin, a reporter for The Cardinal at the University of Louisville; Logan Todd, editor of The Trail Blazer at Morehead State University; and Katie Perkowski, managing editor of The Kentucky Kernel at the University of Kentucky.
The show will air at 8 p.m. EDT on KET1. It also will be broadcast at 6:30 a.m. Saturday on KET KY, 7:30 a.m. Sunday on KET KY, 12:30 p.m. Sunday on KET 1, 8 a.m. Monday on KET KY and 7:30 p.m. Monday on KET KY.

Well it comes down do political contributions. When a good for nothing like Kent Ueltschi can gives thousands of dollars to a campaign to get a political position for a salary of 85,055 per year to show up for a couple hours a week only to run a decent ran operation into the ground Kentucky sure gets a hell of a deal. Yes the man is part of a very wealthy family and contributes very much to the DNC. But does that make him qualified to run the Commonwealth’s Print shop? In the eyes of Stevie Beshear it does. This man has taken a well ran operation and ran it into the ground. He shows up at work at the crack of 10 and by lunch he is on his boat at the marine by lunch sucking down brews hob knobbing with other politically connected high rollers.
