U.S. Republican Senate nominee Rand Paul is increasing his lead over Democratic nominee Jack Conway, according to a new poll released Thursday.

The cn|2 Poll, conducted for Insight Communications, shows Paul leading Conway 40.6 percent to 31.4 percent, with 27 percent undecided.

A poll by the cable company released July 22 showed Paul leading Conway 41 percent to 38 percent, with 19 percent undecided.

The survey of 802 likely voters was conducted by interviewers from Braun Research Inc. of Princeton, N.J., from Aug. 2 through Aug. 4. It has a margin of error of 3.46 percentage points.

About 44 percent of respondents in the poll said they had a favorable view of Conway compared to about 50 percent for Paul.

Love the fake polls as the polls showed Obama almost as low as Bush but strange when Obama was on The View the ranking were the highest ever in history for a day time show. Guess people don’t watch TV the TV turned on themselves. Rand is a joke and only a few paid supporters are praising him for his Racist policies. Rand gave himself a doctor’s certification and had no BA degree but with the big green Duke allowed him in. Bush took pride in saying his Dad paid for him to get in Yale where he admits he was drunk for the 4 years. Who knows Rand might have paid for the poll numbers as he’s use to buying his way to what he wants.

The only fake poll so far was one conducted by Research 200, a company the Herald Leader used for a few years, that favored ‘progressives’. I think they got sued by the Daily Kos for making up their polls. “Progressives” love to make baseless accusations about their opponents while forgetting actual transgressions by their allies.

Kentuckians have elected bad officials for so long that we are used to idiots like McConnell, hal Rogers, and Bunning. They say you get the government that you deserve, but we progressives in Kentucky deserve much better than what the rednecks keep electing. If Kentucky had a higher percentage of non whites, we would not reward racists by electing them.
Rednecks electing rednecks is what has held Kentucky back.
Rand Paul is a national JOKE.

“If Kentucky had a higher percentage of non whites, we would not reward racists by electing them.”

You mean like the guy campaigning with Jack Conway, Wendell Ford?

Some of you may think Rand is a joke but you may as well get use to it. I can’t wait to cast my vote for this man, he WILL be elected by a huge margin. Politics as usual are soon to be kicked to the wayside.

  6. Big Jay says:

hey rick rushing, you said, “If Kentucky had a higher percentage of non whites, we would not reward racists by electing them.”
That statement is racist in and of itself. You infer that whites are racists and non-whites are not racists. This is untrue since some of every group are racists. Look in the mirror, progressive man, and pluck the stick out of your own eye before you try to remove the splinter from your neighbor’s eye.
