I will continue to cast my vote for Johnson, to do anything else would be contradictory in my opinion. I can in NO way support the other two candidates. Bill was and still is a man of DUTY-HONOR-COUNTRY..I will cherish my time that I volunteered and blogged for his campaign! God Speed Mr. Johnson

Ha! No...I just love good political drama and people like Bill Johnson who, to their credit are idealistic about how things ought to work, just have no idea how these things are really decided. In all liklihood, his bowing out was a solid move for the GOP in that it will allow a straight up/down vote on the direction of the party in KY...either center right or WAY right. Personally, I don't much care for the isolationist/evangelical right, but to each his own.

Mr. Johnson is a very sharp person, he will do just fine in life. I appreciate all of his service to our country and the fact that he got out there and tried. He will be back. I had the opportunity to meet him and I wish him the best.

I heard this guy Monday morning on 590...made no sense to me. I wonder what Rand Paul promised him to drop out in order not to split the isolationist, evangelical, paranoid, small penis vote?

I think that people should build their foundations for running for public office. School board, local council, magistrate, etc., before running for a state or national office. A person learns a lot about the general process of working with people as an elected official that way. Regardless of political affiliation.
