FRANKFORT — Michael Shane Cope, a Madison County business owner, filed Wednesday to run against Senate Minority Leader Ed Worley of Richmond in next May’s Democratic primary election.
Worley has represented the 34th Senate District since 1999. It includes Madison, Lincoln and Rockcaste counties.
Cope, 36, was not available for comment. His Web site, www.mikecope2010.com, said he attended Berea College from 1993 to 1994 and then joined the U.S. Air Force.

Great news. Worley is a joke and has used politics to his advantage, not the peoples.
