I look at health care the same way I look at food, housing, transportation, etc. in a free market economy. I get what I can afford. If I can't afford it, I do without. If I get cancer and I can't afford the treatment, then I guess I'll just die. And that doesn't bother me in the least. I'm right with God and don't think it's the duty of the populace at large or the taxpayers to keep me alive.

If you hit your lifetime benefit limit with your insurance provider, it will not matter whether you are 10, 50, or 100, you won't be getting that pacemaker. That's the current reality, determined in part by a CEO whose daily salary is more than the total cost of the pacemaker.

The Democrats are very afraid of Rand Paul and so they should be. Rand Paul is a candidate that will destroy their communist agendas if elected. People are finally waking up and realizing what the Democratic Communist Party is all about.

what about the number of people - old, young, and middle aged - who die every year NOW because they either do not have health insurance or cannot afford the co-pays / percentages required by their health plan? What do you propose to do about this? Are these CURRENT death panels? Pull your heads out of the insurance corporation CEOs and their lobbists @$$ and look at what is happening around you.

Dr. Paul was not talking about End of Life Counseling in his Grandma interview. He was talking about a committee that will decide what treatments are worth paying for based on age. Obama made a similar comment when talking about the 105 year old that had a pacement installed at 100. He said "we" will have to tell doctors if maybe a pain pill is better than surgery. That is what he meant. If 1 out of 10 100 year olds don't benefit from treatment then Grandma is a statistic.

"End of life counseling"= death panels. So who's the idiot now, Jay Martin? You need to get your head out of Obama's @$$ and see the light.

BREAKING NEWS: Rand Paul breaks Kentucky's Political Fundraising Record for single day fundraising.

Rand Paul has raised $250424 in the past 14 hours and the money keeps rolling in! Keep up the good work, apparently Rand's message is VERY popular!

I bet Trey Grayson's office is getting a little hot right now but it's not the thermostat that is broke.

pocks, I stand corrected.

It was 1992 that Trey Grayson was campaigning for Clinton. Btw, what about the rumors that he was also a Clinton Delegate? Do you know if that is true? I heard he denies that, but not the actual campaigning for Clinton part.

Rand appeared to have some good ideas, but then he drank the looney, death-panel kool-aid. He's lost all credibility in my book.

This guy is an idiot. Anyone who talks of the "death panels" in the health care bill cannot be very intelligent. We don't need more dumb politicians. Remember Bush and Palin?
