Right to Life endorses GOP Ditty in special state Senate election

FRANKFORT — Republican Jack Ditty picked up the endorsement of the Kentucky Right to Life Wednesday in the Aug. 25 special election for a state Senate seat in northeastern Kentucky.

The Right to Life said in a news release that Ditty, a Greenup County dermatologist, expressed in an interview “his desire to protect human life from the threats of abortion and euthanasia.”

Ditty faces Democrat Robin Webb, a state representative from Grayson, in the special election Gov. Steve Beshear called after Charlie Borders resigned from the 18th Senate District seat to take a Beshear appointment to the state Public Service Commission.

The district inclues Bracken, Carter, Greenup, Lewis, Mason and Robertson counties.

  1. This is like asking Bill Gates who his favorite company is; these endorsements mean nothing!!!

Better question would be what did he give to get the endorsement?
