If Jim Bunning does not seek re-election and resigns, then Beshear should appoint Mongiardo, but if the occasion came, WOULD HE?

The amount raised by TG is respectable, but will that turn into votes. It would be a touch call for a GOP candidate to win this one.

McConnell\’s election was under different circumstance. Trey is a contender even if Bunning does not drop out. And, Jim Bunning senses that.

Can we please just agree that Rand Paul is just as much as an unviable candidate for the US Senate as his dad was for the Presidency. Not that I think he could win a primary, but if he did, it would be handing a Senate seat to the Dems.

I don’t know whether to be excited that having someone (McConnell, Bunning have been there WAY too long have have become influenced by the POLITICS AS USUAL.) new may improve things or concerned because he hasn’t made any big impact and has stayed so middle-of-the-road…

Good guy but I don’t think he will want to make a difference!!!
