		<description>Looks like the real problem is the lack of athletic trainers who can make the decision to use the pool.  Athletic trainers are not available due to financial issues for the school districts.

So, what we choose to do is provide inadequate funding for the health of our young athletes and allow them to die from a wholly preventable cause.  

To stop these preventable deaths we could provide funds (locally or at the state level) for athletic trainers, thereby allowing the proper use of pools and saving young lives.  The other way to prevent these deaths is to eliminate the sport.</description>
