Another pundit puts Ky.’s 2010 Senate race on watch list

Chris Cillizza of The Fix at WashingtonPost.com put out his initial rankings of the 2010 U.S. Senate races on Friday. It’s no surprise that the race for the seat held by GOP Sen. Jim Bunning of Southgate was among his top 10 to watch.

“Bunning is absolutely certain to be one of Democrats’ highest priorities in 2010 since he has never won with more than 51 percent of the vote,” Cillizza notes.

He lists potential Democratic challengers to Bunning in this order: U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler, Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo, State Auditor Crit Luallen and Attorney General Jack Conway.
